The puzzle location.
Rescue Thomas is a two-part, non-scroll challenge from Black & White. It is located on top of a mountain close to the beach near the Norse village on Land 4. It is available from the start.
The Solution[]
This is a turn-based puzzle where the player must guide Thomas out of a maze, while avoiding a wolf.
Clicking on the ground with the action button will make Thomas move one space into the chosen direction (which can be up, down, left or right), while clicking on Thomas will cause him to stand where he is and skip his turn. Every time any of these actions are performed, however, the wolf moves two spaces towards Thomas.
Once the player successfully escapes the maze, another one will appear, and it too, must be solved if the challenge is to be beaten.
The screenshots below show both paths needed for each part of the challenge.

Part 2 of the challenge. Notice the blue dot on the path. That means Thomas must skip his turn once upon reaching that location, and then proceed normally.
Reward: The Strengthen Creature miracle will become available at the Norse village.
Trivia[]
- When the first part of the challenge is completed, a bug will sometimes cause the walls from the previous puzzle to remain where they are, even though the player can pass through them. This can lead to confusion when attempting to solve the second part of the puzzle.
