Adam is an NPC from Black & White that is featured on Land 4. He is part of "The Heartbroken Man" gold story scroll quest, which involves getting rid of the final guardian stone.
He is first described as "a lonely man, who worships only Nemesis". The game later reveals that his "devotion" to Nemesis comes from the fact that his wife, Keiko was kidnapped by the evil god and kept in the Aztec village - as long as Adam watches over the guardian stone, no harm may come to Keiko.
The player then can choose to kill one of them or reunite the couple to obtain the guardian stone, returning the sky to normal.
